Children’s Books

Marlow Brown

The Marlow Brown books are humorous, down-to-earth stories for readers aged seven and above.

Marlow is the kind of girl who loves to try things out. In book 1 she is wowed by science and, against increasing odds, goes all out to emulate her eccentric Uncle Q who has some pretty amazing science experiments going on in his conservatory. Book 2 sees her try on a different hat — a magician’s to be specific. Marlow is accompanied in all her capers by Rockstar, her constant and highly intelligent doggy companion. The Marlow Brown books are illustrated by Melbourne artist Marjory Gardner, whose work in children’s illustration is known both in Australia and internationally.
